AmerBary, a dynamic and creative real estate group with roots in film and media, brings a uniquely multifaceted approach to serving clients in Los Angeles’s most coveted neighborhoods.

  • Wolf Amer is a dedicated Southern California native whose career has been built on hard work, creativity, and commitment. Before entering real estate, Wolf spent over two decades in the film industry, developing, designing, directing, and managing commercials, music videos, and independent feature films. During that time, he honed a unique blend of production, design, and marketing skills that now serve his real estate clients exceptionally well.

    As a set decorator, art director, and production designer, Wolf successfully managed complex budgets and demanding schedules for clients such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Chevrolet, E! Television Network, and Bravo TV. He also worked as a film editor for Rhythm & Hues, followed by a decade at NBC/Universal. It was during these years in entertainment that Wolf developed a genuine passion for real estate investment, ultimately leaving the industry to focus on helping others buy and sell homes full time.

    Wolf is proud to work with a diverse range of clients, including many from the film and music industries. His background gives him a sharp eye for design and infrastructure, as well as a deep understanding of how to market a property to its fullest potential. He and his team use the latest technology, social media, and real estate platforms to maximize exposure, always with an emphasis on client privacy, thoughtful communication, and personalized service.

    Known for his integrity, positive attitude, calm demeanor, and high standards, Wolf approaches every transaction with a strong code of ethics and a genuine commitment to his clients’ best interests. Outside of real estate, he enjoys attending sporting events, specially supporting his alma mater USC football, and most importantly, spending time with his wife, their two daughters, and their Bernedoodle, Charlie.

    A cancer survivor, Wolf proudly supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, where he has twice served as chairman. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and continues to channel his drive, creativity, and resilience into helping his clients achieve their real estate goals.

He loves strategically branding properties to maximize returns for sellers and helping buyers find homes where they can begin their next chapters. From The Agency’s headquarters, he focuses on the surrounding neighborhoods he knows best, including Bel Air, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Hollywood Hills, Studio City and Sherman Oaks.

    Mike is as professional as he is personable. Highly empathetic, he listens attentively to his clients to establish a strong foundation of trust in every relationship. Throughout every transaction, he makes himself readily available to each client and works diligently in service of their best interests.

    Originally from Houston, Texas, Mike attended Baylor University, where he majored in Film and Media Studies. He relocated to Los Angeles to work in television as a producer and editor. It wasn’t until he had bought and sold a few properties that he discovered his passion for real estate. Captivated by the city’s architecture and drawn to the opportunity to meet new people, he left television to pursue a career as a real estate professional. Now he uses his film experience and expertise to market properties with stunning videos and social media campaigns.

    When he isn’t studying new market data and trends or advocating for clients during negotiations, Mike can usually be found spending quality time with his wife and their two kids, playing tennis and watching basketball. He also looks for meaningful ways to support the LGBTQ+ community as an ally.
